About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at Elder Tree Montessori. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our school.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scheduling and Coordination

Schedule and confirm appointments, meetings, and events in a timely and efficient manner.

Communication and Customer Service

Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and respond to electronic enquiries in a professional and courteous manner.

Office Administration

Order office supplies, maintain inventory, and ensure a well-stocked and organized workspace.

Document Management

Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents with accuracy and attention to detail.

Data Entry and Bookkeeping

Perform data entry tasks and assist with basic bookkeeping duties as needed.

Database Management

Maintain and manage digital databases with accuracy and attention to detail.

Requirements
  • Education

College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.

Experience

1 to less than 7 months of experience in an administrative role.

Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position working 35 hours per week. The work language is English.
