Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced nanny to join our team at Cardinal Nannies & Caregivers Inc. As a nanny, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and supervision to children in a home-based setting.

Responsibilities
  • Household Management: Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for the children.
  • Light Housekeeping and Cleaning: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and organized home.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals for the children.
  • Child Supervision: Supervise and care for children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Transportation: Take children to and from school and to appointments.
  • Discipline and Guidance: Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, while also providing guidance and support.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, including administering CPR and First Aid as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in childcare or a related field.
  • Certifications: CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate.
  • Language: English.
  • Transportation: Own transportation and a valid driver's license.
Working Conditions
  • Work Setting: Work in the employer's/client's home.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
  • Work Term: Temporary.

  • Time Management: Manage your time effectively to ensure that all tasks and responsibilities are completed to a high standard.
  • Patience: Demonstrate patience and understanding when working with children and their parents.
  • Honesty: Maintain honesty and integrity in all aspects of your work.
