As a key member of our quality improvement team, you will play a vital role in supporting physicians in achieving coordinated and accessible services, while improving the health of the population, enhancing patient and provider experience, and reducing costs.
About the RoleThe Physician Quality Improvement Coach will provide foundational support to physicians in quality improvement activities, including 'at the elbow' support and training for hospital-based quality improvement, coordinating regular time/space to review data with physicians, and supporting physicians and teams to trial improvements in their hospital setting.
Responsibilities- Provide quality improvement coaching and support to physicians in achieving coordinated and accessible services
- Develop and implement quality improvement plans and strategies
- Collaborate with physicians and teams to identify and prioritize quality improvement initiatives
- Provide training and education on quality improvement methodologies and tools
- Coordinate regular data review and analysis with physicians
- Support physicians and teams in implementing quality improvement initiatives
- Master's degree in Nursing, Health Administration, Business Administration, or a related field
- Five to seven years of recent related healthcare experience, including two years in a management role
- Additional leadership training an asset
