Client Experience Specialist

Investment Planning Counsel (IPC) is a leading independent wealth management company in Canada, dedicated to helping advisors build a better business through exceptional client experiences.

The Client Experience Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring seamless interactions between clients and advisors. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing exceptional client service, ensuring a consistent experience for existing clients and prospects
  • Scheduling and managing advisor/client appointments and events, documenting key information as required
  • Handling client requests within pre-defined SLAs, responding to inquiries via various channels
  • Screening and directing calls, taking adequate messages, and relaying them in a timely manner
  • Answering queries, disseminating or explaining information to callers and visitors as needed
  • Contributing to the collective achievement of retention, client experience, and growth targets for IPC
  • Ensuring accuracy of completed account/trade paperwork, financial plans, and client meeting documentation
  • Providing ongoing feedback to the team to capture and review opportunities for business improvements

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Minimum 3-5 years in an advisor/client support role in a financial services firm, or comparable experience
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in business, finance, economics, or a related discipline, with completion of or working towards completion of IFIC, CSC, and/or CPH
  • Excellent client service skills, ability to anticipate client needs, and timely follow-up
  • Able to multi-task, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Intermediate knowledge of Office365, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Excel, and SharePoint, with intermediate knowledge of Univeris, FundServ, UVC, iMost, NetRep, NBIN Portal, and/or Compass a plus
