Job Overview

Thai Ivory Cuisine is seeking an experienced Chef to join our fast-paced kitchen team. As a key member of our culinary staff, you will be responsible for meal preparation, menu planning, and kitchen management.

About the Role

This is a permanent position working in a busy restaurant environment. You will be responsible for determining food portion sizes and costs, planning menus and estimating food requirements, and requisitioning food and kitchen supplies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Determine food portion sizes and costs
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies
  • Prepare and cook meals and individual dishes
  • Prepare meals for customers with food allergies
  • Supervise kitchen staff and maintain inventory
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
  • Manage kitchen operations

Cuisine Specialties:

We specialize in Thai cuisine and are looking for someone who can bring their passion and expertise to our kitchen.

Work Environment:

This role requires a fast-paced restaurant setting with the ability to work under pressure. You must be physically fit and able to stand for long periods.
