Welcome to Baird & Associates Coastal Engineers Ltd., a leading firm in coastal and marine engineering. We are seeking an experienced Coastal Engineer - Design and Project Management Professional to join our team.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing design engineering tasks with moderate-to-advanced techniques, procedures, and criteria. This includes supporting planning, research, design, engineering, and preparation of plans and specifications.

Your responsibilities will also include leading the collection and analysis of data, developing project manuals, and assisting in project management, including client interaction, budget and schedule control, and quality control procedures.

You will work closely with our team to support the administration and on-site observation of marine construction projects. Additionally, you will participate in proposal preparation and interviews, attract new clients, and retain existing ones as necessary.

To be successful in this role, you should have a B.S. in Civil, Ocean, or Coastal Engineering or a closely related field from an accredited university. A Professional Engineering License or the ability to obtain one within 6 months is also required.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in coastal or marine engineering, preferably in a consulting or contractor role, is essential. You should also have demonstrated experience in project design or construction involving coastal and marine structures, ecosystem restoration, or navigation and dredging.
