Lutendi Systems is a rapidly growing proptech company that services over 5,000 units through our three main enterprise customers. We are revolutionizing the rental market with advanced rent reporting technology, improving financial transparency and credit accessibility for renters across Canada.

Our platform integrates seamlessly into the rental ecosystem, providing secure, scalable, and impactful solutions for property management firms and renters alike.

This is an incredible opportunity for an individual with a strong interest in startups, technology, and real estate. The ideal candidate will have a background in computer science, software engineering, or a related field and be prepared to lead our technology strategy, oversee web app development, and help guide the company to its next stage of growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Leadership: Oversee all aspects of Lutendi's technology stack and make key architecture decisions.
  • Web App Development: Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable web applications.
  • Team Building: Hire and manage a high-performing technical team as we grow.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a technology roadmap for the short- and long-term.
  • Investor Relations: Communicate Lutendi's technical vision and value to stakeholders and potential investors.
Requirements:
  • Strong background in IT architecture design and web app development.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as SvelteKit, SQL, Python, Postgres, Node.js, Tailwind CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with databases, web APIs, and software design principles.
  • Experience with software development tools and frameworks.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a passion for learning new technologies.
  • Has a background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Passionate about startups and innovation.
  • Experience or interest in the real estate industry or other early-stage startups is a plus.
  • Capable of working in person in Ottawa (relocation support may be considered).
