Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Cloud Solutions Engineer to join our team at Foresters Financial Services, Inc. As a key member of our IT infrastructure and development team, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud-based infrastructure and applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable and secure cloud-based infrastructure solutions using AWS technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize IT infrastructure and development projects
  • Provide subject matter expertise in AWS technologies, with a focus on Connect
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify potential system issues and recommend feasible solutions
  • Develop and maintain documentation outlining procedures and relevant configurations for recovery, administration, and troubleshooting purposes
  • Ensure all changes to the environment are deployed using Foresters CI/CD DevOps pipeline
Requirements
  • Post-secondary bachelor's degree in computer science, programming, Network Engineering, or relevant Engineering field
  • Related Professional Certifications/Designations
  • Full knowledge of DevOps disciplines and alignment for Foresters CI/CD processes, infrastructure as code development
  • Good knowledge of telephony, networks, load balancing, switching, firewalls
  • Exceptional understanding of AWS, Microsoft Azure, Windows servers
  • Good understanding of Linux RHEL & CentOS
  • Proficient in managing virtual environments infrastructure
