Job Title: AWS Cloud Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Cloud Systems Engineer to join our team at Foresters Financial. As a key member of our IT organization, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure on AWS, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize cloud infrastructure projects.
  • Develop and maintain cloud security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Implement and manage cloud-based services, including AWS Connect, to support our business operations.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to internal stakeholders on cloud-related matters.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS technologies and services, and recommend new solutions to improve our cloud infrastructure.
  • Work with our DevOps team to implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for cloud-based applications.
  • Ensure regular communication with stakeholders on cloud infrastructure projects and initiatives.
  • Perform post-incident analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent future incidents.
Key Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, and relevant professional certifications.
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure management, with a focus on AWS.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security, DevOps, and IT service management.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
