Job Title: Education Specialist French Immersion Grades 4-8

We are seeking a highly qualified Education Specialist to join our team at York Region District School Board. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing educational support to students in French Immersion Grades 4-8.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement educational programs to support student learning in French Immersion Grades 4-8
  • Provide individualized support to students with diverse learning needs
  • Collaborate with teachers and other educational staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
  • Assist with the development and implementation of curriculum and instructional materials
Requirements:
  • Native-like fluency in French as a Second Language, Part 1
  • Strong knowledge of French Immersion curriculum and instructional methods
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
