We are seeking a qualified French Immersion Teacher to join our team at York Region District School Board. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching French Immersion classes to students in Grades 4-8.
Key Responsibilities- Teach French Immersion classes to students in Grades 4-8
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Native-like fluency in French as a Second Language, Part 1
- Experience teaching French Immersion classes to students in Grades 4-8
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
