Retail Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Pet Valu. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our store, including supervising sales floor staff, managing inventory, and maintaining a high level of customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities of Workers: Lead and motivate a team of sales floor staff to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
- Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Ensure that sales floor staff are assigned to tasks that align with the store's goals and objectives.
- Authorize Return of Merchandise: Process returns and exchanges in a fair and efficient manner.
- Prepare Reports on Sales Volumes, Merchandising and Personnel Matters: Analyze sales data and provide insights to management to inform business decisions.
- Resolve Issues that May Arise: Address customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may impact store operations.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of retail experience.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
