Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Administrative Assistant to join our team at the Government of Alberta. As a key member of our Site Services department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of daily accommodations, including telecommunications, surplus, access, inventories, tenant improvements, and onboarding new staff.
Key Responsibilities
- As the primary point of contact for Accommodations, you will provide exceptional customer service, manage appointments, set up meetings, and troubleshoot technical issues.
- You will coordinate a range of high-profile, sensitive, and confidential issues, requiring a strong understanding of our department's organization, policies, and practices.
- Administrative support to executive as required, including managing calendars, coordinating travel arrangements, and preparing reports.
- Liaison and relationship management with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and contractors.
- Support to Central Administrative Functions, including reception, mail, and courier services.
- Problem-solving and strategic coordination to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
Requirements
- Strong logical and methodical reasoning, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively plan, investigate issues, provide options, make recommendations, and manage small projects.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to customer service.
