Job Title: Administrative Assistant - Logistics Coordinator

About the Role:

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant - Logistics Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our logistics department, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and contributing to the overall success of the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer Telephone Calls and Relays Messages: Respond promptly to incoming calls, relay messages to relevant teams, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Electronic Enquiries: Respond to electronic inquiries in a timely and professional manner, providing accurate information and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Data Compilation and Statistics: Compile data, statistics, and other information as required by the logistics department, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Office Supply Management: Order office supplies and maintain inventory levels to ensure a well-stocked office environment.
  • Greeting and Directing Visitors: Greet visitors and direct them to relevant contacts or service areas, providing a warm and welcoming experience.
  • Information Filing Systems: Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems, ensuring easy access to critical information.
  • Data Entry: Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, contributing to the smooth operation of our systems.
  • Marketing Support: Collaborate with the marketing department to understand and communicate marketing messages effectively to the field.
  • Bookkeeping Tasks: Perform basic bookkeeping tasks, such as invoicing and expense tracking, to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Daily Operations Coordination: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations, ensuring seamless execution and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate: Possess a secondary school diploma or equivalent as a minimum qualification.
  • Experience: At least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in a logistics or administrative setting.
  • Work Location: This position requires on-site work at our Twins Brother Trucking Ltd. facility.

Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this role is $42,000-$50,000 CAD, depending on qualifications and experience. This figure is based on industry standards and location factors.
