About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at AIMS 2 HOLDINGS INC. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for cutting and preparing meats for retail or wholesale distribution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and prepare meats for processing or cutting
  • Cut carcasses, sides, and quarters to meet customer specifications
  • Wrap and package prepared meats for distribution
  • Train and mentor junior meat cutters to ensure high-quality standards
  • Prepare special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products to attract customers
  • Shape, lace, and tie roasts, other meats, poultry, and seafood to meet customer demands
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and company policies
  • Manage the operations of package handling to meet customer needs
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in meat cutting or a related field
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a hybrid work environment
