Job Description for Food Service Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Food Service Team Lead to join our team at Adobo Fresh Burrito. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of our food service staff, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction are consistently met.

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time position requiring a minimum of 40 hours of work per week. As a Food Service Team Lead, you will have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills and contribute to the success of our fast-paced and dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
  • Establish and maintain efficient workflows to meet work schedules and deadlines.
  • Ensure that all food and beverages served meet our high quality standards.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Prepare and present accurate reports and summaries to management.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling.
Working Conditions

This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. You must be able to adapt to changing circumstances and prioritize tasks accordingly.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for career growth and development.
