Job Summary

J.E. Agnew Food Services Ltd. is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor Lead to oversee the daily operations of our cafeteria and coffee shop. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and ensuring that all food service operations run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead and motivate a team of staff to prepare and portion food, manage stock, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and implement work schedules to meet the needs of our clients and ensure adequate coverage.
  • Train Staff: Provide on-the-job training to new staff members, ensuring they are equipped to perform their duties efficiently and effectively.
  • Address Customer Complaints: Respond promptly to customer complaints and concerns, resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain Records: Accurately maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights to inform future business decisions.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure, and attention to detail.
