Are you a seasoned professional looking for a new challenge in child welfare? We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Child Intervention Supervisor to join our team in the North Region.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will provide leadership and guidance to a team of Child Intervention Practitioners, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to children, youth, and families. This role requires a strong understanding of the Child Intervention Practice Framework and the ability to prioritize multiple projects and assignments to support the safety and well-being of children and families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide practice supervision to Child Intervention Practitioners, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to deliver effective services.
- Develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders, including First Nations, Métis, and Inuit communities.
- Lead and manage a team of Child Intervention Practitioners, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
- Develop and implement strategies to build staff capacity and promote inclusive practices.
- Engage with the team to set individual and unit goals, providing ongoing case consultation and practice supervision.
- Advanced level of proficiency in the Child Intervention Practice Framework.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and assignments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships.
- Ability to work collaboratively with First Nations, Métis, and Inuit communities.
- Knowledge of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission's calls to action.
- CI Practitioner Competencies: Performing the Child Intervention Practitioner competencies with consistency at an advanced level of proficiency.
- Mindfulness and Self-reflection: Being intentionally aware, focused, and present in the moment.
- Outcome Oriented: Maintaining a working knowledge of the CIPF Principles, CI outcomes and priorities.
