**Role Responsibilities**:

As a Child Intervention Supervisor, you will support the alignment of casework practice by following the direction and working towards the operational goals of the Ministry of Children and Family Services. Your dynamic leadership will demonstrate your talents and enthusiasm to coach, mentor and guide your team within the child intervention practice framework, signs of safety, as well as Intake and Safety Phase Workflow.
- Sound practice and the ability to prioritize multiple projects and assignments that decisions support the safety for children, youth, and families.
- Well-developed interpersonal communication skills that enhance your ability to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders.
- The importance of working collaboratively with First Nations, Métis, and Inuit communities by showing how you share your knowledge of the calls to action from the Truth and Reconciliation Commission.
- Exceptional team building skills that maintain and enhance strong and effective teams who embrace change.
- The ability to empower a team and provide direction and support for inclusive practices, build strength in the delivery of services in accordance with the accepted practices and within the guidelines of legislation, regulations, policy, and procedures.
- The ability to engage a team by setting individual and unit goals by providing ongoing case consultation and practice supervision.

- **CI Practitioner Competencies**: Performing the Child Intervention Practitioner competencies with consistency at an advanced level of proficiency, according to the Child Intervention Practice Framework Principles, to provide practice supervision to CI staff.
