We are seeking a talented Programs Manager to join our team at the Alliance for Arts and Culture. This role is critical to our mission of promoting accessibility and inclusion in the Canadian screen industry.

Job Description

In this role, you will work closely with our staff to drive the implementation of our strategic programs, focusing on accessibility, diversity, equity, and inclusion. You will be responsible for administering multiple programs, managing budgets, and tracking expenses, while providing exceptional support to our team and stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement programs that promote accessibility and inclusion in the Canadian screen industry, aligned with our multi-year strategic plan.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Programs & Development to ensure successful project delivery, including research projects, resource hubs, and festivals.
  • Manage program budgets, timelines, and expenses, maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners, colleagues, and stakeholders, facilitating communication and coordination.
  • Cultivate a culture of accessibility and inclusion within our organization, promoting diverse perspectives and experiences.
Requirements
  • Recent experience in program development and implementation, preferably in a cultural or artistic context.
  • Strong understanding of accessibility and inclusion principles, with a commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and social justice.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills, with ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Proficiency in digital media, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office, with ability to learn new tools and technologies.
  • Fluency in both English and French, an asset.
