Job Description

We are seeking a high-performance, cross-functional professional to serve as the Chief of Staff, reporting directly to the CEO. As the CEO's right-hand person and representative across the organization, you will be responsible for managing internal and external stakeholders, negotiating deals, providing strategic insights, and taking ownership of problems that don't fit anywhere else.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the CEO's right-hand person and representative across the organization.
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders, negotiate deals, and provide strategic insights.
  • Take ownership of problems that don't fit anywhere else.
  • Lead cross-functional projects from inception to completion and streamline operational processes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and scalability.
  • Get your hands dirty with administrative or even menial tasks as needed.
  • Thriving in uncertain conditions and finding your own path.
  • Pitch the CEO with your ideas to improve both his effectiveness as a leader and his reach and impact on the organization.
  • Investigate market trends, competitive threats, and emerging opportunities to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement across the organization.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, partners, and advisors.
  • Be proactive and stay one step ahead of leadership to anticipate the business' needs.
Ideal Qualities
  • 8+ years of exceptional operational experience in startups, tech, venture capital, consulting, and/or finance.
  • Strong quantitative and written communication skills.
  • Experience at a high-growth startup from seed or Series A to Series C or D funding rounds.
  • Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with ambiguity and uncertainty.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and willingness to roll up sleeves to get the job done.
  • Atypically versatile. Thinks and acts like a CEO. Able to dive into many roles and do them well.
