BJS Indian Kitchen is seeking a skilled Cook to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
Responsibilities- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including complete meals and individual foods.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
- Order supplies and equipment as needed.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Organize buffets and banquets to ensure a high-quality dining experience.
- Manage kitchen operations to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
- 1-2 years of experience in a kitchen setting.
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures.
BJS Indian Kitchen is a dynamic and fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Cook, you will be working in a kitchen setting with a team of experienced chefs and kitchen staff.
LanguageEnglish is the primary language spoken in the kitchen. However, we welcome applicants who are fluent in other languages.
Hours30-40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
