**Job Summary**

Sequoia Landscape Services - Grand Sequoia Services Ltd. is a reputable landscaping company based in North Vancouver that specializes in the installation and maintenance of outdoor spaces for high-end residential homes and strata properties. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Foreperson to lead our team of gardeners and landscapers.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Lead a small team of gardeners and landscapers to perform a variety of tasks, including gardening, pruning, planting, mowing, line trimming, hedging, blowing, and spreading mulch.
  • Provide regular progress reports to management, including client concerns, problems, and delays.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to complete jobs within estimated time frames and budgets.
  • Coordinate with management to facilitate job actions, installations, deliveries, and daily responsibilities.
  • Maintain a friendly and personable attitude, ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Communicate effectively with the team and clients to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Adhere to all Occupational Health and Safety Standards.
  • Remain flexible with scheduling and site placements, and be willing to work in variable weather conditions.
  • Attend meetings approved by management.

**Requirements**

  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • High level of native plant identification and in-depth knowledge of seasonal garden requirements.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Lead Hand/Foreperson position, with a comprehensive knowledge of assigned duties and responsibilities.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience working with a variety of equipment, materials, and tools, such as lawnmowers, pruners, hedgers, etc.
  • Reliable and punctual.

**Assets**

  • Applicable certification (e.g. Red Seal).
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, renderings, blueprints, and specifications.
