We are seeking a reliable and physically fit individual to join our team at Copetown Woods Golf Club Inc. as a Golf Course Maintenance Worker. This is a seasonal position with a varying schedule, requiring the ability to work outdoors in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on the golf course, including weeding, pruning, and trimming trees and plants.
  • Cut grass and rake and collect refuse.
  • Remove litter and garbage, and cart and spread topsoil and other materials.
  • Lay sod or seed, and plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees.
  • Apply fertilizers and water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including small engine equipment, tractor mowers, and weed trimmers.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labour in a variety of weather conditions.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions:
  • Work will be performed outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
  • May be required to work in confined spaces and handle heavy loads.
  • May be required to bend, crouch, or kneel for extended periods.
