Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Risk Manager to join our team at Equitable Group. This role will play a critical part in mitigating security risks associated with third-party partners and vendors, ensuring the efficient and secure growth of our business.

Responsibilities
  1. Conduct thorough risk assessments of third-party security programs and technical architectures to identify potential vulnerabilities.
  2. Monitor and report on third-party security risk action plans, engaging with stakeholders to ensure compliance and effective mitigation strategies.
  3. Maintain a robust third-party security risk management framework aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  4. Provide security input to third-party contracts, ensuring alignment with cybersecurity policies and regulatory expectations.
  5. Evaluate supplier-related cyber risk threat scenarios and assign risk ratings based on comprehensive reviews of third-party security programs.
  6. Ensure continuous compliance with third-party security requirements, collecting evidence and validating records.
Requirements
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in information security and risk management, including hands-on experience conducting third-party risk assessments.
  • At least three (3) years of experience in third-party risk management, including cloud shared responsibility models and risk mitigation techniques.
  • Strong understanding of security compliance frameworks such as PCI DSS, BSIMM, Cloud Security Alliance, NIST, and ISO 27K series.
  • Experience working in a banking or financial services environment is an asset.
