Strategic Human Resources Advisor for Wellness and EDI

About the Role
As a Human Resources Advisor for Wellness and EDI, you will play a key role in supporting the HR Branch at the National Research Council of Canada (NRC). The successful candidate will be responsible for advancing employee wellness and equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) initiatives to achieve organizational success.

The NRC is Canada's largest research and technology organization, collaborating with over 70 colleges, universities, and hospitals annually. We bring together the brightest minds to deliver tangible impacts on the lives of Canadians and people around the world.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic advice on employment-related policies, programs, and initiatives to advance EDI and wellness.
- Implement employment and workplace-focused strategies, programs, training, and approaches to promote EDI and wellness.
- Design and develop programs, tools, and approaches for broader roll-out and use by various stakeholders.
- Transfer knowledge to others, including HR practitioners and other service providers.
Requirements
- Experience in human resources management, including providing strategic and functional advice on employment-related policies, programs, and initiatives.
- Experience implementing employment and workplace-focused strategies, programs, training, and approaches to advance EDI and wellness.
- Experience designing and developing programs, tools, and approaches for broader roll-out and use by various stakeholders.
- Experience transferring knowledge to others, including HR practitioners and other service providers.
