Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Advisor to join our team at the National Research Council Canada. As a key member of our HR Branch, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and implementation of HR programs and initiatives that promote employee wellness and equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI).
About the Role:
The successful candidate will have a strong background in human resources management, with experience in providing strategic and functional advice on employment-related policies, programs, and initiatives. You will also have a proven track record of implementing employment and workplace-focused strategies, programs, training, and approaches to advance EDI and wellness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic and functional advice on employment-related policies, programs, and initiatives.
- Implement employment and workplace-focused strategies, programs, training, and approaches to advance EDI and wellness.
- Design and develop programs, tools, and approaches for broader roll-out and use by various stakeholders.
- Transfer knowledge to others, including HR practitioners and other service providers.
Requirements:
- Degree from a recognized university in a field relevant to the work to be performed.
- Experience in human resources management, including providing strategic and functional advice on employment-related policies, programs, and initiatives.
- Experience implementing employment and workplace-focused strategies, programs, training, and approaches to advance EDI and wellness.
