Job Description

**Project Coordinator Role at Victor Energy**

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team at Victor Energy Ltd. As a Project Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our project leadership team to ensure the smooth execution of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide execution and coordination support to the project management team, including reporting, project delivery, meetings, formal communications, schedule management, cost management, risk management, and documentation.
  • Monitor project progress, create project status reports, and track project milestones to ensure deliverables are completed and meet project requirements.
  • Schedule meetings, facilitate communication between the project manager and stakeholders, and follow up on actions.
  • Manage project-related inquiries or escalations and provide formal responses in a timely manner.
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules and tasks, as well as track costs and prepare reports.
  • Prepare, maintain, and monitor risk registers and gather updates.
  • Maintain project documents, such as the project plan, budget, schedule, or scope statement, as directed by the project manager.
  • Provide additional support as requested by the project manager, including tracking status of quality documentation, financial information, etc.
  • Assist with gathering project requirements from various internal teams.
  • Use approved systems in alignment with company expectations.
  • Promote a culture of health, safety, and environmental protection on the project.

Requirements:

  • Degree or certification in business administration, project management, or a related field.
  • 2 to 4 years' experience in a fast-paced administrative or coordinator role.
  • Utility construction experience (such as transmission, distribution, substations, telecom) is a strong asset, including working in a construction office at site.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with key contacts at all levels in verbal, written, and electronic form.
  • Exceptional eye for detail and organizational skills in a dynamic, multi-tasking environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Working knowledge of project management and/or scheduling software such as MS Project.
  • Proven ability to understand construction administration and contract commercial terms.
  • Analytical skills and a logical, independent problem solver.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
