Job Title: Retail Sales Manager - Team Lead

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Sales Manager - Team Lead to join our team at Neighbors Convenience Market. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales staff and overseeing the day-to-day operations of our store.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Staff: Lead and motivate a team of sales staff to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to determine consumer demand and stay up-to-date with market trends.
  • Merchandise and Services: Determine the merchandise and services to be sold in our store, ensuring that they meet the needs of our customers.
  • Price and Credits Policies: Implement price and credits policies to ensure that our customers receive fair value for their purchases.
  • Procurement: Locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale, ensuring that it meets our quality standards.
  • Budgeting: Plan and manage budgets to ensure that our store operates within its financial means.
  • Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Staffing: Recruit, hire, and supervise staff to ensure that our store has the right people in the right roles.
  • Payroll Administration: Oversee payroll administration to ensure that our staff are paid accurately and on time.
  • Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews to ensure that our staff are meeting their targets and providing excellent customer service.

Requirements:

  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail sales environment.

Work Environment: Our store is a fast-paced and dynamic environment where no two days are the same. As a Retail Sales Manager - Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales staff and overseeing the day-to-day operations of our store. You will work closely with our management team to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
