Software Application Development Manager(Virtual)

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Manager to lead our Digital Channels team in the development and engineering of technology used by our customers.
As a Software Development Manager, you will be responsible for leading new technical projects, defining project scope, gathering requirements, and delivering solutions. You will also improve the team's processes and manage a team of technical contributors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the team and its activities, including project definition, requirement gathering, and technical delivery of solutions
* Improve the team's processes and manage a team of technical contributors
* Work with stakeholders to communicate progress and design innovative solutions to support business functions and client requirements
* Develop software and hardware solutions across a range of languages, including mobile and infrastructure, with a focus on initial quality and best practices
* Set and maintain appropriate coding standards and practices
* Manage CI/CD pipelines and processes to ship frequently and safely
Requirements
* 7+ years of post-schooling experience as a Software Developer or Engineer, ideally in a new product development role
* 3+ years of experience managing a technical team
* Proficient at Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Source Code Management, and documentation, including training support teams and providing 2nd level support
* Strong DevOps understanding with a security and automation mindset
* Proven track record developing public-facing web-based user interfaces and applications
* IaaS/PaaS/SaaS deployment and operations experience
* Enjoy the iterative, agile process with customers of your solutions
* Have a valid driver's license and can travel within Ontario
