Software Development Manager (Full Stack)

Purolator is seeking a highly skilled Software Development Manager to lead our team in developing innovative technology solutions. As a key member of our Digital Channels department, you will be responsible for defining projects, gathering requirements, and delivering technical solutions that meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of technical contributors to deliver high-quality software solutions
  • Develop and maintain coding standards and best practices
  • Manage CI/CD pipelines and processes to ensure frequent and safe deployments
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate project progress and requirements
  • Design and innovate software applications to support business functions and client requirements

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience as a Software Developer or Engineer, ideally in a new product development role
  • 3+ years of experience managing a technical team
  • Proficient in Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Source Code Management, and documentation
  • Strong DevOps understanding with a security and automation mindset
  • Proven track record developing public-facing web-based user interfaces and applications
  • IaaS/PaaS/SaaS deployment and operations experience
