Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Medical Devices Specialist to join our team at Corcym, a global medical device company focused on the structural heart area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing production duties in the Tissue Preparation areas (clean rooms) in accordance with good manufacturing practice and established standard operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare pericardium tissue used in the valve assembly step by performing manufacturing tasks associated with its preparation.
  • Ensure equipment is calibrated and in acceptable working condition prior to use and report any issues promptly.
  • Maintain traceability and preservation of product in your possession.
  • Document work accurately and completely in the Manufacturing Execution System (MES), BPCS Business System, forms or logbooks/daily production logs as applicable.
  • Clean critical manufacturing room and gowning areas in accordance with established procedures.
  • Handle chemicals in a safe manner and in accordance with procedures.
  • Perform daily monitoring and cleaning of equipment as required.
  • Operate equipment following written procedures.
Requirements:
  • Able to do repetitive detailed work within guidelines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to follow procedures written in English and maintain precise records.
  • Open-minded and accepts constructive criticism and feedback.
  • Ability to work well with co-workers in a team environment with limited supervision.
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite).
Compensation and Benefits:

Our comprehensive compensation package includes a competitive salary, flexible spending account, life and disability insurance, retirement plan with RRSP matching, and access to an on-site gym and parking space. You will also receive a training wage of $19/hour, increasing to $20/hour upon completion of training.
