We are looking for an experienced Intermediate Greenhouse Gas Engineer/Scientist to join our team in Calgary or Edmonton. As a GHG Specialist, you will provide a wide range of services to various sectors including chemical, manufacturing, oil and gas, power generation, mining, and mineral production.
Job DescriptionThe ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in GHG verification, auditing, or environmental consulting. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related sciences is required. Having a professional engineering designation is an asset.
Responsibilities- Conduct third-party GHG verifications as a verifier or lead verifier
- Lead, manage, and execute GHG validation and verification projects
- Review and assess GHG emissions data, production data, and methodologies
- Conduct site and office visits to gather evidence and assess operations
- Prepare verification plans, verification reports, proposals, and other technical documents
