About the Role

As our new Greenhouse Gas Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving our team's success in achieving sustainability goals. With a focus on business development initiatives and leveraging your network to strategically grow our operations, you'll have the opportunity to bring in-depth knowledge of air quality concerns and expertise in quantifying emissions, mitigation and reduction plans, fugitive emissions measurements, greenhouse gas and methane control studies, project management, and technical report writing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement plans to expand business opportunities in our Air Quality and ESG groups, fostering strong relationships with clients and identifying new revenue streams.
  • Assist clients in developing GHG reduction plans and strategies to meet net-zero goals, providing expert advice on climate change mitigation and adaptation measures.
  • Perform methane, fugitive emissions, and greenhouse gas emissions inventories and reduction analyses, utilizing data-driven approaches to inform decision-making.
  • Focus on initiating, developing, building, and expanding successful client relationships, ensuring exceptional customer service and loyalty.
  • Develop proposals and budgets with financial acumen, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Participate in various projects through study design, analytical QA/QC, advisory services, specialized field surveys, and review of technical reports, applying your expertise to drive results.
  • Prepare federal, provincial, and/or municipal permits, licenses, and applications, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Provide technical and business mentorship to other staff members, sharing your knowledge and experience to foster growth and development.
  • Participate nationally with the Air Quality team and other technical disciplines throughout our Canadian operations, contributing to the advancement of our environmental services.
