We are seeking an experienced Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Pro-Ply Custom Plywood Inc.

About the Role

This is a permanent, full-time position requiring 40 hours of work per week. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our team, including greeting clients, directing them to contacts or service areas, and providing basic information to clients and the public.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet clients and direct them to the appropriate contact or service area;
  • Provide basic information to clients and the public via phone, email, or in-person;
  • Operate the switchboard or telephone system to answer and direct calls;
  • Maintain accurate records and logs of work performed;
  • Perform various clerical duties, including filing, sorting, and distributing mail;
  • Answer telephones and relay messages to the appropriate personnel;
  • Monitor mobile radio or telephone systems as required.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook;
  • Experience with accounting software and electronic mail;
  • Own transportation;
  • Ability to sit for extended periods.

Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $45,000 - $60,000 based on location and industry standards. We offer a competitive compensation package that includes a comprehensive benefits program.
