Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Associate to join our Wealth Management team at the Royal Bank of Canada. As a Senior Associate, you will play a key role in providing exceptional client service and support to our Investment Advisors, helping to deepen relationships with existing clients and identify new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and prepare meetings for the Investment Advisor with clients and prospects, ensuring seamless execution and follow-up.

  • Provide proactive client service, focusing on problem resolution and attention to detail, and liaise with various departments as needed.

  • Respond to client inquiries, including account transactions, requests for account documentation, and account reporting.

  • Assist the Investment Advisor with client onboarding, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.

  • Help manage incoming communications from clients, advisors, and internal and external partners, prioritizing and escalating issues as necessary.

  • Maintain existing client accounts, identifying opportunities to contact clients and manage timelines and key dates for accounts.

  • Ensure accurate and timely updates of all necessary documentation, in compliance with internal controls and industry regulatory requirements, and maintain complete and up-to-date client files within appropriate systems.

  • Help update team communication channels, including websites, LinkedIn, Facebook, brochures, and newsletters.

Requirements

  • Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct & Practices Handbook (CPH)

  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills

  • High level of time management and organization skills

  • Demonstrated skills in providing world-class client service, with a professional, warm, and friendly approach.

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience within the wealth management and securities industry.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of RBC Dominion Securities' systems and procedures
