We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer/Editor to join our team at CAE Inc. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development of high-quality technical documents and publications.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and edit technical documents, including proposals, instructional materials, and other publications.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and other team members to ensure accuracy and consistency in content.
- Apply critical thinking skills to interpret complex engineering documents and convey information in a clear and concise manner.
- Utilize various documentation software, including Adobe FrameMaker, Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel, to produce high-quality documents.
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, communications, or English language, or equivalent work experience in the Aviation/Aerospace domain.
- Strong knowledge of publications software and ability to produce PDF output.
- Attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
