Food Service Team Lead

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Dairy Queen Grill & Chill Restaurant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Lead and manage a team of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Train and Develop Staff: Provide guidance and training to staff members on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Estimate and Manage Resources: Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Quality Control and Customer Service: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Reporting and Budgeting: Prepare and submit reports, and prepare budget and cost estimates for food and supplies.
Requirements:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service establishment.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
