About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sewing Machine Operations Supervisor to join our team at Simply Sofaworks & More Ltd. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for coordinating work activities, establishing methods to meet work schedules, and preparing production reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate work activities with other departments to ensure seamless production.
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and improve productivity.
  • Prepare production reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Set up machines and equipment to ensure efficient production.
  • Supervise, coordinate, and schedule activities of workers to meet production goals.
  • Train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to distinguish between colors, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination.
  • Excellent oral communication skills and a client-focused approach.
  • Flexibility, judgment, and reliability.
  • Team player with efficient interpersonal skills.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with 40 hours of work per week. The language of work is English.
