Job Title: Sewing Machine Operations Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sewing Machine Operations Supervisor to join our team at Simply Sofaworks & More Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Sewing Machine Operations Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating work activities with other departments, establishing methods to meet work schedules, and preparing production and other reports. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to train staff and ensure a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate work activities with other departments to ensure efficient production
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and deadlines
  • Prepare production and other reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement
  • Train staff on job duties, safety procedures, and company policies
  • Supervise and schedule activities of workers to ensure a safe and productive work environment
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role
  • Ability to distinguish between colours
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
