Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team at Fastenal Canada. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and shipment of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain the warehouse and supply areas to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Identify, label, and catalogue incoming items, and route them to the appropriate storage areas.
  • Receive, unpack, and sort incoming parts, supplies, and materials, and prepare them for shipment or storage.
  • Prepare bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents, and arrange for billing for services.
  • Pack goods to be shipped, and ensure that all shipments are accurately labeled and documented.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a warehouse or inventory management role.
  • Knowledge of inventory management software and systems.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
