Position Overview:
Reporting to the Logistics Supervisor, the Warehouse Operations Specialist is responsible for executing various warehouse tasks, which may encompass loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, operating forklifts, and conducting cycle counts.
Compensation: $24.00 per hour plus an additional $0.50 for afternoon shifts
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute warehouse operations, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
- Ensure accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of vehicles
- Manage daily paperwork associated with warehouse operations (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading)
- Perform duties in alignment with performance measurement standards of the contract
- Undertake additional related tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Due to federal regulations:
- Candidates must be Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents.
- Candidates must provide a birth certificate and passport for identification.
- Candidates must possess a valid Ontario driver's license and provide utility bills confirming current address.
- Candidates must successfully pass an RCMP fingerprint background check.
- Proficiency in English is required.
Additional Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- At least one year of relevant warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
- Valid Forklift Operator's License is preferred
- Familiarity with automated pick and pack systems is advantageous
- Experience with warehouse management systems (PKMS) is a plus
- Proficient in using RF scanners
- Familiarity with MS Office applications
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to thirty-five (35) pounds
- Capability to stand for extended periods
- Team-oriented with the ability to work in a diverse environment
- Adherence to health and safety protocols
- Punctuality and a reliable attendance record
- Initiative and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
