Job Summary
The Hazard Monitoring Specialist is responsible for overseeing Hazard Monitoring projects in all facets of operation. This includes purchasing materials and supplies, facility scheduling, equipment installation, budget tracking, employee training, and commissioning of equipment. The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. They will also be hands-on, with strong initiative and a work ethic.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversight of Hazard Monitoring projects, including purchasing materials and supplies, facility scheduling, equipment installation, budget tracking, employee training, and commissioning of equipment
- Equipment specification, design, selection, installation, and validation
- Troubleshooting and repairing hazard monitoring equipment
- Training and mentoring other colleagues on Hazard Monitoring equipment
- Managing contractors for staffing levels, costs, productivity, safety
- Reviewing facilities to ensure compliance with Tier II Guidance and Hazard Monitoring requirements
- Assisting in incident investigations

Compensation and Benefits
The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive total rewards package to support all aspects of your well-being, including physical wellness, financial wellness, and mental and social wellness benefits.
About the Position
This position offers a full range of benefits, including medical, vision, and dental insurance coverage, a pension plan, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, as well as reimbursement for physical activity memberships. The position requires extensive travel and may involve working in extreme temperatures, heights, and confined spaces.
