Job Summary
The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is seeking a highly skilled Research Scientist to join its Campbell Family Mental Health Research Institute. The successful candidate will lead a research program in translational neuroscience, focusing on the neurobiological bases of psychiatric/neurological disorders and treatments.
As a Research Scientist, you will work in a collaborative inter-disciplinary environment, spanning fundamental and clinical research. You will be responsible for developing and carrying out a sustained and consistent program of research, securing and managing extramural funding sources, and maintaining a strong publication record.
The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in Health Sciences and 3 years of post-doctoral experience in neuroscience research. Expertise in developmental neuroscience and preclinical modelling is an asset. The successful candidate will possess sound judgment, excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills, as well as the ability to cultivate internal and external relationships and collaborate effectively with colleagues and decision makers.

Requirements
