Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Coordinate Trucking Operations: Oversee the daily activities of our trucking operations, including dispatching drivers, monitoring routes, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Train and Develop Drivers: Provide training and coaching to our drivers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs safely and efficiently.
- Manage Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance of our fleet of vehicles, ensuring that they are properly maintained and meet safety standards.
- Coordinate with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments, including dispatch, maintenance, and customer service, to ensure that our operations are running smoothly and efficiently.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in the trucking industry.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Recruit and support newcomers and refugees who were displaced by a conflict or natural disaster, providing them with mentorship programs and cultural competency training.
- Support for Indigenous People: Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for Indigenous workers, and provide cultural competency training to all employees.
- Support for Visible Minorities: Apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities, and provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment.
