About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Housekeeper to join our team at Best Western Cranbrook Hotel. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Plan and coordinate the activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.
    • Supervise and train housekeeping staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness and customer service.
  • Quality Control
    • Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas to ensure compliance with hotel standards and regulations.
    • Identify and address any issues or concerns related to cleanliness or customer satisfaction.
  • Financial Management
    • Prepare and manage budgets for housekeeping supplies and services.
    • Monitor and control expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Staff Management
    • Recruit, train, and develop housekeeping staff to meet the needs of the hotel.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff.
  • Guest Services
    • Ensure that all guest rooms and public areas are clean and well-maintained.
    • Respond to guest complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • At least 1 year of experience in a housekeeping or facilities management role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
    • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position that requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The successful candidate must be able to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
