Job Summary:

The Executive Housekeeping Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that all rooms and public areas are clean and well-maintained. This includes supervising housekeeping staff, coordinating inspections, and maintaining financial records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and coordinate activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews
  • Coordinate inspection of assigned areas
  • Supervise staff and ensure they meet safety standards and departmental policies
  • Maintain financial records and prepare budgets and payrolls
  • Supervise maintenance and repair services and coordinate contract services
  • Conduct performance evaluations and appraisals
  • Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms
  • Supervise in-house laundry services and coordinate dry cleaning and valet services
  • Ensure that local health and sanitation regulations are carried out
  • Conduct infection control audits
  • Hire and dismiss staff
  • Respond to guest complaints
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Client focus, dependability, and reliability
