Heritage Programs Coordinator

The City of Fort Saskatchewan is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Culture & Recreation Team as a Heritage Programs Coordinator. This role is responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of all Fort Heritage Precinct programs and events.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement educational and public programs within service levels approved by City Council.
- Oversee staff delivery of daily frontline services at the Fort Heritage Precinct, including tour delivery, visitor information, and gift shop sales.
- Collaborate with Fort Heritage Precinct staff to deliver event programming and ensure revenue and expenses are managed effectively.
The successful candidate will have a 2-year Diploma in education, history, heritage interpretation, museum studies, or a related field. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a heritage-related position and progressive experience in supervision is required. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential for this role.
