Customer Service Manager Job Summary

As a Customer Service Manager at Walmart Canada, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and ensuring a positive shopping environment. This role involves coordinating front-end operations, maintaining compliance with company programs and operational standards, and providing guidance to associates as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ensure safe work processes and emergency procedures are followed, including safe lifting techniques, cleanliness of the area, evacuations, down registers, and emergency codes.
2. Handle customer and associate concerns, providing guidance and support as required.
3. Monitor front-end associates, ensuring proper coverage, coordinating breaks, and providing assistance to outlying registers.
4. Provide training to associates on systems and company procedures, including scanning accuracy, productivity, company programs, and initiatives.
5. Oversee purchase, return, and exchange transactions, assisting with error corrections and verifying processes to meet company guidelines.
6. Ensure EAS systems are functioning correctly, including cashiers deactivating and greeters handling issues appropriately.
7. Prepare registers for opening and closing, supporting cashiers with change and maintaining front-end cash levels.
8. Promote company sponsor programs and initiatives, including credit card services, Walmart protection plans, charity initiatives, and discount programs.
