Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Indian Pan Flame. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff to ensure efficient service delivery.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain high-quality standards.
    • Develop and implement effective work schedules to meet business demands.
  • Culinary Expertise
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation to minimize waste and optimize inventory.
    • Develop and maintain knowledge of our culinary genres to ensure consistency and quality in our dishes.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and wastage to inform business decisions.
    • Develop and manage budgets and cost estimates to optimize profitability.
Work Environment

As a Food Service Supervisor at Indian Pan Flame, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel, and walk frequently. This role is physically demanding and requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Client-focused with excellent oral communication skills.
    • Efficient interpersonal skills and a team player attitude.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position with a 32-40 hour workweek. The work language is English.
